Dirk's Fund has been rescuing Golden Retrievers for over 10 years. Some are turned into them by their owners and some are rescued from various animal shelters. All of the dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative and flea control, as well as vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP).
